

Qualifications of Membership |

There are four different categories of members:
Institutional
Associate
Student
Corporate
Institutional Membership
Institutional Membership is open to post secondary education institutions in Ontario engaged in the field of student housing. Each Institutional Membership includes one (1) individual Institutional Membership (Contact Member). Additional Individual Memberships may be acquired by employees at that Institution for an additional fee per person. Each individual member in good standing shall have one vote during any vote by the membership of the Association.
Associate Membership
Associate Institutional Membership is open to post secondary education institutions outside of Ontario engaged in the field of student housing. Each Associate Membership includes one (1) individual Associate Institutional Membership (Contact Member). Additional Individual Associate Memberships may be acquired by an employee at that Institution for an additional fee per person. Associate members receive all the privileges of membership except the right to vote, the right to host any meetings or conferences or the right to stand for elected position within the Association.

Individual Membership Fee $40.59
Student Membership
Student membership is open to any graduate or undergraduate student who is currently pursuing a degree or diploma at an accredited academic institution, whose studies will lead to a career in Student Housing but are not currently eligible for any other category of membership. Student members will receive all the privileges of membership except the right to vote, the right to host any meetings or conferences, or the right to stand for elected position within the Association.

Corporate Membership
Corporate Partner membership is open to any corporate entity having a business interest in the student housing profession at post secondary education institutions, while not providing housing to students at such an institution. Corporate Partners receive an annual Broadsheet subscription, recognition in each issue, an opportunity to register and secure a prime location booth at the annual conference, one copy of the annual Membership Directory, and a link on the OACUHO Web site. Corporate Partners do not hold the right to vote, the right to host any OACUHO meetings or conferences, or the right to stand for an elected position within the Association.
